Smyrna Police Investigating Saturday Night Shooting

Smyrna Police detectives are investigating a shooting that occurred on Saturday night. On 9/12/20 at approximately 10:30 p.m., SPD officers responded to the 100 block of Lincoln St for a report of shots fired. Upon their arrival, they located a 50 year old female victim who had suffered a gunshot wound to her lower extremity. She was conscious and alert and was transported to KGH for treatment. While investigating, SPD officer’s learned of a second male victim in his 20’s also suffering from a gunshot wound to his lower extremity. This male ran to the area of KFC on N Dupont Hwy after also being shot in the 100 block of Lincoln St. This victim was also transported to KGH for treatment in stable condition. The investigation remains active and ongoing and there are no further details to report at this time.
