Smyrna Police detectives are investigating an early evening shooting incident at the George Wright Municipal Park located in the 500 block of N Main St. On Wednesday, 7/3/24, at approximately 8 p.m., officers responded to the park in reference to an anonymous call about gunshots. Upon arrival, officers located shell casings from 3 separate firearms on the ground in the parking lot. Officers canvassed the area, and all bystanders on the scene either stated they did not witness anything or were uncooperative. Detectives are releasing the attached images of 3 separate suspects who are all believed to have fired weapons during the incident. As of this time, no victims have been located, and no one is believed to have been struck.
