Smyrna Police detectives have arrested a Dover man for a recent burglary that occurred in the early morning hours of 12/6/24 at the EndZone bar and grill located in the 200 block of Stadium St. Detectives, using various investigative means, were able to identify Kenneth Yarborough, 33 of Dover, DE as the suspect responsible for the burglary and theft. Detectives also broadcast this information to surrounding law enforcement agencies, and DSP Troop 3 had several unsolved burglaries that also matched the one SPD was investigating. Mr. Yarborough was taken into custody by members of the Delaware Probation and Parole office without incident on 12/11/24. Simultaneously, SPD detectives, along with members of the Delaware State Police Troop 3 Property Crimes Unit, executed a search warrant on Mr. Yarborough's residence in Dover, DE, where evidence from these burglaries was recovered. Mr. Yarborough was transferred to the custody of the Smyrna Police Department, where he was arraigned via video phone in JP #2 for the crimes below. Mr. Yarborough was released on an Own Recognizance bond for the offenses charged by SPD but was held on Violation of Probation warrants. All suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt.
